Shipping & Final Sale

Free US shipping. We ship within one business day from Michigan via USPS or UPS Ground. Most US orders arrive within 2–5 days.

International: We ship worldwide. International shipping is calculated at checkout and customs duties are the buyer's responsibility. Transit times vary by destination.

Final sale. All Le Laboureur orders are final. We've made that choice deliberately, carrying returns at our scale would force us to raise every price by ten to fifteen dollars to cover reverse shipping, inspection, and unsellable returns. We'd rather price the jacket honestly and put that margin into helping you choose well.

If you receive something defective or damaged in transit, write to us within 5 days and we'll make it right.

  • LE LABOUREUR S.A.S

    Digoin, France

Manufacture De Vêtements De Travail Et D'autrefois

In the early 1950s, Primo Zelanti, founder, began selling agricultural clothing at fairs and markets in the French region of Burgundy.

This small business grew rapidly and prompted Primo Zelanti to create, in 1956, its own brand: "Le Laboureur". He attaches strong values to producing, in the heart of France, traditional clothing with high quality materials and fabrics. Slowly, the collection, originally limited to clothing for the work of the earth, extends to work clothes for the building trades, with always one orientation: to make traditional useful clothes.

In 1988, Jean-Charles Zélanti succeeded his father as CEO. Jean-Charles continued to expand the company successfully until 2019, when Jean Copleutre, a carpenter with the Compagnons du Devoir, and his brother Vianney acquired Le Laboureur.

Today, still a family-owned business bu Jean and Vianney, with around 30 employees, continues to produce, in Digoin, quality clothing, fashioned in the old fashioned way.
